Description Winston
Meet Winston, a handsome approx. eight-month-old who's growing into an incredible companion. This sweet, easygoing pup is completely house trained and has excellent house manners for his age. He happily sleeps through the night in his crate without a peep, and during the day he'll often choose to curl up in his open crate for a nap. Whether it's the couch, his dog bed, or the cool hardwood floor, Winston is content wherever he finds a cozy spot to relax.
When he's awake, Winston loves to romp & play and is all about making friends. He adores being petted, loves every dog he meets, and can't resist saying hello to new people on walks. He's already mastered "sit" and "come," walks beautifully on a leash, and is highly motivated by treats, making continued training both fun and rewarding. He also enjoys chewing on his favorite bone and playing tug-of-war or keep-away with his canine buddies. Quiet by nature, Winston rarely barks and has shown no signs of resource guarding.
Like any young puppy, Winston is still learning that hands aren't chew toys and can be a little nippy when he's excited. With patience, consistency, and plenty of appropriate chew toys, this is a phase he's expected to outgrow. If you're looking for a loving, social, and well-started young dog who will happily join you for adventures before settling in for cuddles at the end of the day, Winston is ready to win your heart.
