Description Benson
Meet Benson, an adorable approx. 8-month-old sweetheart with a heart as beautiful as her markings. Her striking white stripe between her gorgeous eyes, snowy nose, white-speckled neck and back, and darling white paws perfectly complement those signature floppy brown ears. Benson has a calm, gentle demeanor that's rare for a puppy, but she still loves to romp and play with other dogs before curling up under the covers for a cuddle session with her favorite person. In fact, her favorite sleeping spot is tucked in close, with her head or paws touching her human.
Benson is making wonderful progress with house training and will let you know she needs to go out by whining, plus she's great about using pee pads if needed. She's a quick learner who already knows "sit" and "down," is highly food motivated (especially if canned food or a tasty chew is involved!), and loves spending time outdoors sniffing every interesting scent she can find. She enjoys fetch, rides well in the car, adores children, welcomes visitors, and dreams of making friends with every dog she meets.
Like any young pup, Benson is still learning. She hasn't had much crate training yet, and being left alone is her biggest challenge. She'll let you know she's unhappy with an impressively loud puppy protest, but she's already making steady progress as she settles into foster life. With patience, consistency, and plenty of love, this social butterfly is blossoming into the kind of dog who will happily accompany her family anywhere.
