Get to Know Beau the Dog

Description Beau
Meet Beau, the gentlest of giants. This 100-pound bundle of joy hasn't quite realized he isn't a tiny lapdog. Beau is pure, unfiltered sweetness and is the ultimate companion for anyone looking for a loyal, affectionate friend. He starts every morning with a request for a belly rub and is happy to keep that cuddle train going all day long. If you're looking for a giant "hunk of fluff" to cozy up with on the couch, Beau is ready to claim his spot!

Thought to be around 1 year old, Beau is as well-mannered as he is big; he is completely house-trained, perfectly content when left alone, and has never been a barker. He is a gentleman when being brushed or handled and is fantastic with children of all ages. While he is a pro at "sit" and "shake," he's still a playful guy at heart. He loves his soft toys, amazon boxes and the occasional shoe if it's laying about. He is also quite proud of his ability to lift a closed toilet lid for a quick drink!

Outside, Beau is an avid sniffer who loves to take his time on walks to really soak in the neighborhood scents. Because he is a strong boy, he walks best on a harness and is looking for a family who can manage his strength when he gets excited about a squirrel or a bird. If you have the space in your home and your heart for a giant, goofy, and endlessly loving soul, Beau is ready to be your new best friend.
