Meet Izzy! This 9-year-old girl is affectionate, smart, and an absolute gem in the home. She's house-trained, non-destructive, crates well, eager to learn and please, and knows how to relax. No counter surfing, no table begging, no household destruction-just a really good girl who loves being near her people.
When Izzy meets someone new, she can get very excited! But here's the secret to Izzy: give her a little time, introduce her slowly, have some snacks in your pocket, and let her get comfortable. Once she realizes you're someone she can trust, she settles down-usually within about 15 minutes-and her sweet personality shines through!
A little positive praise, plenty of yummy treats, and patience go a long way with this girl. She doesn't need someone to change her; she needs someone willing to help her learn how to manage those big feelings.
Once you're her person, Izzy LOVES being close and soaking up affection. She'd love to be your one-and-only pet and would do best in a calm home without young children.
She enjoys leisurely walks and sniffing adventures more than playing fetch, and she's perfectly happy to come home afterward and relax with her favorite human.
