Description Taquito
Taquito may be a senior Chihuahua, but this little señor still has plenty of fiesta left in him! With his goofy little walk, love of sniffing everything, and serious appreciation for good food, Taquito is happiest when he's close to his favorite person. He's an absolute cuddlebug who loves pets, enjoys lounging on the couch during the day, and doesn't mind being picked up for some extra snuggles. At bedtime, he happily heads into his crate and sleeps quietly through the night.
Taquito gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a mellow canine companion, even if they aren't quite ready to join him for a game of fiesta fútbol. Around 12 yrs old he's also perfectly happy with mature humans and older kids and teens, making an adults-only or mature household his ideal casa. He's a good boy on walks, although he believes every blade of grass and every tree deserves a thorough inspection-and possibly a little personal marking. He's still working on his house training, so a belly band is helpful indoors while he gets the hang of things.
This sweet senior is finally relaxing and showing his foster family just how special he is. He does bark while crated when left alone during the day, so Taquito would love a home where someone is around more often. He's food-loving with absolutely no resource guarding, affectionate, easygoing, and ready to spend his golden years surrounded by love. If your idea of a perfect fiesta is good food, cozy couches, leisurely walks, and lots of cuddles, Taquito is ready to RSVP!
