Cima, named after the "mountain top" where she was found, is hoping her next hike will end in her forever home. Could it be yours?

Thought to be around 3 yrs old, Cima is a gentle and affectionate girl who absolutely loves people and other dogs. She loves being outside, whether she's exploring the yard or finding a cozy spot for a nap. At home, you'll often find her relaxing on the couch or floor, and she never turns down a good belly rub! She also does wonderfully with cats and children of all ages, making her a wonderful companion.

Cima is currently on a special diet to help her reach a healthier weight, and her adopter will need to continue supporting her on that journey. She does well walking with a harness, although she could use some continued practice.

Cima does have one big personality trait: she loves to talk! Who can blame her? She may not have had someone to talk to at the top of the mountain. She is a frequent barker, especially when she hears the doorbell or knocking, unfamiliar loud noises, or sees wildlife or someone approaching.
