At around 1 year old, Hoka is discovering how wonderful life can be with love and care. After being found severely malnourished, he's gaining weight, building confidence, and learning that he's finally safe. And one thing is certain: Hoka has so much love to give to his person!

He loves exploring the yard, settles into his crate after a few minutes, and feels braver when his people are by his side. After going without enough food, he's still learning that meals will always come, and his foster family is helping him build healthy habits and gain weight safely. He's still discovering the world, and having someone he trusts makes all the difference.

Now, Hoka is ready for his next chapter - one filled with full bellies, cozy cuddles, and a person who makes him feel loved every single day.
